Something my clever, beautiful boy friend wrote to me when I was feeling a bit lost. :)

When you believe in things that others do not, it makes you different.

It makes you behave different, think different, gives you different values and a different perspective on life.

To be different is to stray from the road, the group, the mainstream, its to play in the grass, to walk, skip, jump and follow the rhythm of your own beat. Its to be free of the road, to go left, to go right, fast or slow. Its to grow.

Now the people from the road, the group, the normal, they will mock you, taunt you and talk about you and call you crazy, its their programming, its what keeps THEM in tact, they fear their peers thoughts, what they think and say, thats why they follow the road, marching to someone else's beat, pace and direction. Lead by an invisible leader, its conformity, obedience and slavery. A line of sheep being herded.

The best thing is from your crazy view point, you can see the whole road, where it leads and its leaders, you no longer are blinded from your limited perspective. You've seen more from opening your mind and perspectives, you have become free, broken the bonds of mental slavery and can start learning what it means to be awake/ALIVE.

Namaste.
